Chairman of Kader Industrial Company Limited, Mr. Kenneth Ting Woo-shou continues to lead the Company from strength to strength. After attaining his degree in Engineering from the University of Illinois, he joined the Company in 1968 and came up through the ranks under the traditional Chinese apprenticeship system. He became Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Kader Industrial Company Limited in 1979.
He oversaw the Company’s move of its manufacturing operations from Hong Kong
to China and was successful in listing Kader’s parent company Kader Holdings Company Limited on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 1985.
Mr. Kenneth Ting was appointed as an Independent Non-executive Director of Cheuk Nang (Holdings) Limited in November 2012. His public service record includes his participation in many civic, industrial and governmental bodies, such as his being elected to the Hong Kong Legislative Council, representing of the Industrial (First) |
Functional Constituency from 1998 - 2004. Mr. Kenneth Ting also served as the Chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries from 2004-2007 and as a member of the Jiangsu and Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conferences.
In recognition to his contributions to the industry, Mr. Kenneth Ting was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008 from his peers at the Hong Kong Toys Manufacturers’ Association. |

Mr. Ivan Ting Tien-li, an Executive Director of Kader Industrial Company Limited, is the son of Mr. Kenneth Ting.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Politics and Economics from Middlebury College, Vermont.
His relationship with Kader began at an early age as he spent the first 11 years of his childhood living right atop of Kader’s original factory complex in North Point and would often accompany his father to visit the factory floors.
Upon joining the Company in 1997, he focused on upgrading the model railroad products and was also instrumental in launching the Bachmann China brand.
He continues to stay in constant contact with the company’s offices in the UK, the US and Germany. He also serves as director at certain other subsidiaries and sister companies within the Kader Group of Companies.

| Mr. Ivan Ting was appointed as an Independent Non-executive Director of Harbour Centre Development Limited in December 2018. He was chairman of the Hong Kong Chapter of Entrepreneurs’ Organization from 2006 to 2007 and its Global Board from 2016 to 2017. He was on the Hong Kong Toys Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council from 2003 to 2007 and from 2010 to 2014. He is currently serving as an honorary chairman and a general committee member of the Hong Kong Exporters’ Association, the chairman of the Hong Kong Toys Council and a governing board member of the ICTI Ethical Toy Program. He is also a member of Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and permanent chairman of Federation of Hong Kong Jiangsu Youth. |
